  1. PDF 1624: Short-term expression of p21 led to rapid downregulation of genes involved in mitosis and DNA replication. However, a longer-term consequence of p21 induction resulted in the induction of multigenes (PDF 1605), many of which are involved in aging as well as secreting anti-apoptotic adn mitogenic proteins prosaposin, galecctin-3 and epithelin/granulin.
  2. 作者在PDF 1624證明 p21透過p300/CBP來增加NF-KB之活性而upregulate上述genes, 另外,作者也強調p21這個功能會被E1A抵消掉(競爭p300/CBP).
  3. 如果p21功能這麼強大, EBV infection後, Rta應會快速啟動p21
