1. 利用pooled shDDR1 clones探討DDR1對於OSCC cells的影響，結果發現抑制DDR1表達造成OSCC cells數目降低及細胞凋亡數目增加，而p-SHC、p-SHP2、p-MAPK、CDK1及bcl2為參與DDR1 pro-survival 路徑的重要分子。 2. 比較一系列DDR1 inhibitors (Imatinib、Dasatinib及Nilotinib )對於OSCC cells生長的影響，其中Dasatinib對於OSCC cells的生長抑制效果顯著，但其為廣效型抑制劑，相較之下對DDR1專一性較差，因此，之後實驗仍會著重於Imatinib及Nilotinib當作DDR1抑制劑，觀察對於OSCC cells生長的影響。 3. 利用HOK探討collagens是否會增加DDR1及collagens的protein及mRNA level表達，結果發現collagen typeIV扮演重要角色。

又看到一篇有趣的文章了，米那桑!Lab Life: Balancing act. 快快讀過的心得是： 利用下載paper的記錄作為一個scientist花在研究相關工作上的指標，發現美國人工作得較晚、中國人則多利用週末兩天來做研究。 文中提及每週花60(中國)~80(美國)小時在研究工作上是吃這行飯人的宿命。不過，大多數花長時間工作做科研的人卻是樂在其中。 問題是投資報酬率，就是說creativity/productivity卻不是和長時間工作成正比。 New idea常常來自較放鬆愉快的情境中，因此要常常注意自己的狀態是不是太緊繃，也要發掘一、二樣可以讓自己心境reset的嗜好，並且適度take a break. 要懂得規劃事情的優先順序，對那些輕而急的事情要堅持做完，對可以緩一點再做的事情要懂得跟太demanding的主管說no. 一定有漏掉的地方，請你讀完後也不吝加些心得呦!!

分享兩篇paper1. 這篇: A model for ligand-induced DDR1 shedding.(1) DDR1 在沒有collagen存在下，為全長125kDa的蛋白質。(2) collagen刺激之下誘導DDR1 autophosphorylation，引起sheddase活化，進而將DDR1從細胞表面切成兩段(ectodomain shedding)。(3) ectodomain shedding後，產生soluble DDR1 (a-subunit) 及membrane-anchored truncated DDR1 (beta-subunit) ，此時膜上的DDR1為tyrosine-phosphorylated 62kDa的蛋白質。 ->因此猜測在OSCC細胞中Glivec處理之下，我們看到DDR1全長的增加的同時應該也可以看到62kDa DDR1的減少。->對照我們的4株OSCC細胞在Glivec處理之下，62kDa DDR1在C9及OEC-M1中確實可以看到有下降的現象，撇開OC3來講，TW2.6仍需要再次確認這件事情。 2. 這篇: Discoidin domain receptor 1: isoform expression and potential functions in cirrhotic human liver. 肝硬化病人肝組織中全長的DDR1較正常人來得少，而shed DDR1 fragments較正常人多。->已將cytosol改為soluble。 修改後的報告PPT檔案已放入NAS上。
