1. CTCF是一個疆界蛋白,調控基因體該被轉錄或不該被轉錄的區域。 最近Genome-wide的ChIP-chip或ChIP-sequencing訂出human genome上約有15,000~20,000個CTCF binding sites。
2. EBV和KSHV genome也會被CTCF bind,尤其在KSHV的latecny control region及EBV 的Qp都有被報導過。但是,在此次EBV會議中,聽到二組做此實驗的人在討論由Raji cell中所map出來的區域好像頗有差異。所以參考data時要特別注意。
3.EBV Rta的recognition site究竟為何?CTCF是個典型Zn finger protein(11個finger), 但是Rta卻不像。
